Speaker Profile: Zhang, Tingzhou

Mr. Tingzhou Zhang serves as Economic and Commercial Counselor in the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Macedonia.

Mr. Zhang was born in the Shandong province of China in 1953. After studying in the Army College (1974-78) and service in the Army (1978-87), he worked in the Ministry of Commerce of the P.R. of China till 1994.

His diplomatic career began in 1994, with the post of the Second Secretary in the Commercial Office of the Embassy of the P.R. of China in the Republic of Ireland, where he served till 1997. As First Secretary, he served in the Commercial Office of the Embassy of the P.R. of China in Negera Brunie Darussalam from 2001 to 2003.

Mr. Zhang started working on his present post post of Economic and Commercial Counselor in the Embassy of the P.R. of china in the Republic of Macedonia from July 2003.
